Emergency Care video series now completed

28 October, 2026

Dear colleagues,

Global Health Media Project has now finished and released our Emergency Care series – a total of 78 videos.

Most of these videos were developed in collaboration with WHO’s emergency care team, led by Dr. Lee Wallis. The content is based on standards of care described in WHO’s Basic Emergency Care (BEC) course and Community First Aid Response (CFAR) course. Several of the videos focused on pediatric respiratory care were produced in collaboration with Seattle Children’s Hospital.

The films were shot in Tanzania, Nepal, Kenya, and Malawi.

Most of the videos are for health workers and community first responders. Some of the videos are for community members.

The videos are now available in English; we will eventually be adding versions in French and Spanish. You can watch them on the Global Health Media website where they are also available for download: https://globalhealthmedia.org/video/.

Please feel free to share this announcement with your colleagues.

Thanks and kind regards,

Deb
