Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care - Chad

9 April, 2025

Dear HIFA colleagues,

I am currently working on a project focused on strengthening maternal and newborn health systems and would appreciate your support.

I am looking for guidelines, standards, or references for establishing Basic Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (BEmONC) and Comprehensive Emergency Obstetric and Newborn Care (CEmONC) centers, specifically in Chad. If country-specific guidelines are not available, I would also welcome regional (Africa-level) resources or tools that are commonly adopted or recommended.

Any shared experiences, documentation, links to protocols, or recommendations on best practices would be extremely useful. I would also appreciate contact points within ministries of health, WHO country offices, or implementing partners who might have contextual information.

Thank you very much in advance for your support.

Best regards,
