The decision is for the Journal of the Japan Pediatric Society (JPS) in Japanese. However, this was written to follow the World Health Organization (WHO) guidance regarding commercial milk formula for healthy infants.
I understand that the official English journal Pediatric International (PI) has not published these advertisements. So, the PI will also publish without milk formula advertisements.
The milk companies from high-income countries, including Japanese ones, have increased their influence on LMICs.
