Please Join ISSOP: Free Membership through the Year

Dear colleagues,

As a participant in CHIFA, the International Society for Social Pediatrics and Child Health (ISSOP, www.ISSOP,org<http://www.issop,org/>) would like to offer you free membership for the remaining months of 2020. Thereafter, your membership will continue, and we ask only that you consider making a donation to ISSOP. Instructions for joining ISSOP are outlined below.

We understand that colleagues from low, middle and high-income countries have different financial resources. We will appreciate whatever support you can provide in the future.

No one will be denied membership for lack of a monetary contribution. The value of your knowledge, experience and involvement is incalculable.

Thank-you for all you do for children and families. We look forward to all that we can accomplish together in the future.

If you have other colleagues you think would like to join ISSOP, please feel free to engage them in our work and membership.

INSTRUCTIONS TO JOIN ISSOP WITHOUT PAYMENT

1. Start the application/renewal process from the Membership page of the ISSOP website (www.ISSOP.org<http://www.issop.org/>):

Tony Waterston

CHIFA profile: Tony Waterston is a retired consultant paediatrician who worked mainly in the community in Newcastle upon Tyne, UK. He spent 6 years working in Zambia and Zimbabwe and directed the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health Diploma in Palestinian Child Health teaching programme in the occupied Palestinian territories. He was an Editor of the Journal of Tropical Pediatrics and is on the Executive Committee of the International Society for Social Pediatrics. His academic interests are child poverty, advocacy for child health and children's rights. He is currently the lead moderator of CHIFA www.chifa.org He is also a member of the HIFA Steering Group.
