Dear valued AEN members

Are you from a young Francophone from an African country which is a Member State of the Organisation Internationale de la Francophonie? Here's an opportunity for you!


This project aims to create and mobilise a network of 50 young Francophones involved in supporting and informing climate action in their respective countries. It is an opportunity for 50 youth to learn and exchange on the use of scientific knowledge in support of public policies for climate action, in a series of collaborative activities and training sessions to be held from 22 to 28 August 2021.

Apply if you meet the following criteria:

* 18-35 years old

* Francophone and citizen of a member state of the International Organization of the Francophonie

* Passionate about science and/or activism and/or politics and/or entrepreneurship and/or sustainable development;

* Knowledge of the issues surrounding climate change;

* Interest in the use of scientific knowledge in public policy-making and development;

* Great ability to collaborate and communicate in the spoken word and in writing

This network will be mobilised from July 2021 through a series of preparatory activities until December 2021.
