[Note from HIFA moderator: I am fowarding the intro below which was originally sent to our admin address. Thanks, NPW]
My name is Douglas Ndeki, and I serve as a Health System Strengthening Advisor for World Bank Project Tanzania Maternal and Child Health Investment Program (TMCHIP) in the President’s Office, Regional Administration and Local Government Authorities, Tanzania. My job involves supporting initiatives to improve the quality, accessibility, and sustainability of health services across the country.
My professional interests focus on bridging the gap between health systems research (financing, Human resources, Infrastructure, Health Information Systems, Leadership and Governance) and practical service delivery as a final output, particularly in maternal and child health. I am also passionate about open access to healthcare information to empower health workers, policymakers, and communities to make informed decisions.
I am excited to join HIFA, and I look forward to sharing experiences, learning from colleagues worldwide, and contributing to discussions that promote equitable access to reliable healthcare information.
