Healthcare workers' perspectives on access to SRH services in Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia (2)

3 August, 2022

I was so glad to note what the above-mentioned study found, which corresponds with what is taking place on the ground in most areas, particularly in Tanzania.

Yet, instead of recommending that:

"What is needed is more research on the role of (lack of) healthcare information (among patients and health workers) vis a vis other drivers/barriers to high-quality care,"

I would suggest that:

"What is needed is more research on establishing why there is rampant (lack of) healthcare information (among patients and health workers) vis a vis other drivers/barriers to high-quality care?"

Because that is the root cause hindering the delivery of preventive health care services among the general public in most countries.
