Healthy Climate Prescription

8 September, 2021

The GLobal Climate and Health Alliance has developed a sign-on letter for health professionals in advance of the UN Conference of Parties in Glasgow in November. This can be signed by organisations or by individuals and has been signed by ISSOP, the International Society of Pediatrics and Child Health, which many in CHIFA are members of (and remember - if you are not, you can join free at www.issop.org<http://www.issop.org>)

You can find the letter here<https://healthyclimateletter.net> and the introduction is as follows:

'The 2021 United Nations climate negotiations in November (COP26) are a critical moment and opportunity to put the world on a path that protects people from catastrophic climate change. The health community around the world is coming together to send a message to national leaders and country delegations, calling for real action to address the climate crisis.'

Remember, children will be most affected by climate change and have the least say in negotiations. Please help by signing the letter - either as your organisations or as an individual, or both!
