"Congratulations, Neil! That’s great news and well deserved! Let’s continue to think about how we can include HIFA in future research proposals. Best, Claire"
Thank you Claire and much appreciated.
All: Claire is one of the principal investigators for two major health systems research projects: mHealth-Innovate and Support-Systems. Both are funded by the Research Council of Norway and both are served by HIFA with an innovative approach whereby HIFA provides a platform for all stakeholders to explore the issues as part of larger multinational research projects that include primary and secondary research. (As you will have seen, we are currently holding a thematic discussion for mHealth-Innovate.) In both projects, HIFA was involved in the original research funding proposal to ensure alignment and funding for our role in the project.
HIFA Projects are the lifeblood of HIFA as they provide most of our income and they also give a focus for HIFA members to explore priority issues in depth.
We run three types of sponsored Project. We describe the above as 'Research-based Projects', which we have been running successfully since 2021. Since 2010 we have delivered multiple 'Topic-based Projects', where (co)sponsors support us to explore a priority health issue. This year we are introducing a third type, 'WHO-based Projects', whereby (co)sponsors support us to deep-dive into topics that simultaneously help address the objectives of our HIFA-WHO Collaboration Plan 2025-7. https://publicspace.who.int/sites/GEM/official_relations_details.aspx?id...
