Dear Sammy,
Thank you for this commendable initiative and for your continued efforts in advancing international child health. I am hopeful that this engagement will be well attended as we work together to strengthen and improve child health outcomes globally.
For emphasis, Sammy's original message is attached below:
Dear Neil/CHIFA,
Dear all,
How do you integrate global health into your career wherever in the world
you are practicing? As a UK based Paediatric trainee I am part of a global
faculty providing virtual lectures to medical students in South Sudan. I
have recently been lucky enough to go to Uganda to teach on an in-service
Neonatal training programme and am participating in the MSF Global Health
and Humanitarian Medicine course this year. I am always looking for
inspiration for ways to shape my career going forwards.
Over the past 18 months I have been one of the co-leads for Education and
Training for the International Child Health Group. We have arranged a
careers evening happening 12th February at 18:30:
