The Geneva Health Forum in collaboration with World Climate Foundation organize the World Resilience Summit on Wednesday 24 May at the Campus Biotech in Geneva
This event is a side event of the World Health Assembly.
This event will take place in two parts
Part 1: Round Tables
From 16.00 to 18.00 we are organising three parallel round tables to address 3 issues related to the “Pandemic Accord” being prepared at WHO.
Our aim is to allow people and organisations from the scientific community and civil society to make their voices heard on the current version of the treaty.
The first round table will be on the issue of primary prevention of pandemics. The idea is to see if primary prevention is well covered in the agreement and to see how we could improve this issue.
The second round table will focus on the mobilisation of the community and the private sector in the response to an epidemic.
The third panel will focus on data and pathogen sharing in the event of an epidemic.
Part 2: Plenary summary and networking cocktail
From 18.30 onwards we will have a summary of the round tables then a time for a networking cocktail.
