My name is Covenant Ekarika, a medical student from Nigeria, and I am delighted to introduce myself as a new member of the HIFA community.
I am interested in the health systems, health policy, advocacy, technology, and youth participation in healthcare. Through my work with medical student and youth-led organisations, I have had the opportunity to contribute to health advocacy, policy discussions, communications, and initiatives aimed at engaging young people in health and global health conversations.
I joined HIFA because I am interested in learning from the diverse community of health professionals and stakeholders contributing to discussions around health information and universal access to quality healthcare. I am also excited about the opportunity to contribute my perspective as a young medical professional in training from Nigeria and to connect with other members working to improve health outcomes globally.
