Dear Kelli,
Welcome to CHIFA and thank you so much for your introductory message.
On behalf of CHIFA and HIFA I would also like to thank you and your husband Kevin for your generous sponsorship of this Spotlight on Group B Strep in honour of your daughter Finley Genevieve. I hope we shall have a rich and productive discussion. We shall be addressing a wide range of questions which everyone can review here: www.hifa.org/gbs
The 'official' period of our discussion is 8-14 July (coinciding with GBS Awareness Week). However, we welcome further messages on this topic at any time, starting today.
As CHIFA members our aim is to build a world where every parent, every health worker and every policymaker is empowered with reliable information to prevent, recognise and treat Group B Strep.
We also welcome those who have joined CHIFA recently including a few who have declared an interest in Group B Strep. We look forward to welcome further new CHIFA members onto our forum in the coming days. All: please forward this to anyone who may be interested to join us!
Best wishes, Neil
