I am shocked and saddened by this news. May God bless his soul. He was a very good man. He was honest in all what he said but at the same time he never ridicule anybody and never said anything except wisdom based on his own experience. To be honest, I have little time to read but four people I read everything they write on this Forum. He was one of them. May God bless his soul. It’s a sad day for HIFA.

HIFA profile: Najeeb Al-Shorbaji recently retired from the World Health Organization (WHO), where he has worked since 1988 in different capacities. He was most recently Director of the Knowledge, Ethics and Research Department at WHO headquarters, Geneva. Previously he was Coordinator for Knowledge Management and Sharing in EMRO (Eastern Mediterranean Regional Office), Egypt. He is a member of a number of national and international professional societies and associations specialised in information management and health informatics.
