Hon. Dr. Tinte Itinteang, Minister of Health and Medical Services - Kiribati to join us at our 10th Global Patients Congress

We are thrilled to announce that Honorable Dr. Tinte Itinteang, Minister of Health and Medical Services - Kiribati will join us at our 10th Global Patients Congress as the Keynote speaker.
The Health Minister will share Kiribati’s work on advancing quality, safety, access, and equity of healthcare for patients living within the Alliance of Small Island States (AOSIS) Member States. Kiribati has led the way in creating an enabling environment for small island states in which regional and international organizations have been collaborating freely in the development of innovative global health partnerships in the entire continuum of health care from health promotion, prevention, treatment, rehabilitation, and palliative care.
Kiribati which announces the NEW YEAR first, has got a people-centred, community-focused, joint up healthcare system that is compassionate and is the paragon of humanised healthcare in spirit and in action that the Primary Healthcare and UHC 2030 community can learn from. The Health Minister will share with us how innovation in healthcare can come from anywhere and the size of the country does not matter.
The Health Minister will be followed by Penilla Gunther, former Swedish Member of Parliament and founder of FOKUS Patient who will share the contribution made by legislators in developing innovative global partnerships to drive forward the safety, quality, accessibility, acceptability, affordability and equity of health globally.
Our 10th Global Patients Congress is taking place on 19 - 20 May 2023 at the Maison Internationale des Associations (MIA) in Geneva, Switzerland as a hybrid event. We hope you can join us.
