The Lancet: Commission on Health and Human Rights (12) Genocides in Gaza (3)

Re. Joseph's quotation:

'All humans are born equal'(M L King)!

A reflection -

of course, the key in health and education, indeed life chances - is how equality (and equity) translates in reality?

Presented with an individual and their mental and physical state, even if we wish to, how easy is it for individual practitioners to make a difference socially, and politically?

The individual, the person, client should be 'supported' by society and political systems but so often this is missing, or beyond the scope of immediate practice - clinical context.

The previous two posts concern Gaza.

I wonder how many of us on HIFA, other platforms are acutely conscious about posting, responding, casting an opinion re. the Gaza crisis?
