I would in my personal capacity as a developmental paediatrician working in India, like to add my solidarity with the words that Stewart Britten, Rhona MacDonald and David Southall have shared on this network. It is deeply distressing that we continue to ignore the overwhelming crisis in the middle east that has flouted all aspects of human rights, child rights and the dignity of every individual to live in peace.
As Stewart so eloquently put in his message, we seem to live in a world where policy ignores the populace and I wonder if there are ways that our individual voices can be leveraged for active advocacy through the HIFA and CHIFA networks.
