Interesting piece in the Lancet; the biggest concern (at least for the context of totalitarianism-prone context of the Middle East, is how much this will be used by government to curb genuine debate and the tendency to label every criticism as lies and misinformation (something that many in the government of Iraq and its Kurdistan region are doing very effectively). A fact check agency is, I suppose, is urgently needed and HIFA can play a crucial role in this area.
