Launch of short training films on five aspects of palliative care

5 December, 2021

Palliative Care Works is launching a series of 5 short videos on Wednesday December 8th at 13.00pm -14.00pm London time, GMT

The videos have been produced by a team from Palliative Care Works. The topics were suggested by colleagues overseas to whom we are grateful. They are What is Palliative Care, Making a full Assessment, Pain control and using Morphine, Conducting a family conference at the end of life and Talking to Children and Families.

They are linked for training purposes to the Palliative Care Toolkit and Trainer's Manual and each video is accompanied by the script and facilitators notes for teaching purposes.

The videos can be used within a planned training course or viewed for staff training, or used as an introduction to palliative care where there is no palliative care.

Palliative Care Works very much hope that the videos will be a useful addition in taking palliative care forward and helpful for trainers running courses.

If you wish to join the webinar please email schowns@aol.com and you will be sent a link for the launch.
