Learning brief from Malaria Consortium: Implementing Seasonal Malaria Chemoprevention in conflict-affected areas in Borno state, Nigeria

11 April, 2023

Dear colleagues,

I would like to share a new learning brief from Malaria Consortium: Implementing seasonal malaria chemoprevention in conflict-affected areas in Borno state: Lessons learnt from Nigeria (https://www.malariaconsortium.org/resources/publications/1677/implementi...).

The learning brief shows how Malaria consortium collaborated closely with partners, enhancing our combined expertise, to deliver a community-based intervention to eligible children and displaced and hard-to-reach communities in Borno state. Optimising existing structures and using adaptive, flexible approaches allowed us to respond to the need in Borno at extremely short notice, and to navigate the logistical challenges of operating in a conflict affected setting.

We would be grateful if you would consider sharing with your networks.

If you have any questions or comments, or would like to discuss further, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Kind regards,

Samantha
