I would like to also say how greatly saddened I was to hear that Eldryd has died. He was such an unassuming but inspirational person. He provided support to countless health partnerships. I am grateful for his wise counsel on meeting with him regularly about the development of health partnerships in global child health, including my involvement in Rwanda and other countries over many years.
