mHEALTH-INNOVATE (30) What can we learn from health workers' informal use of mobile phones? (15) Use of mobile phones by nurses in Philippines

19 April, 2022

Hi,

I saw details about the mhealth innovate project.

Between 2016-2020, I have published several journal articles on nurses’ use of smartphones for work purposes in clinical settings.

Although the context of my research is among nurses in hospitals in the Philippines, I have provided a several theoretical and practical insights on how and why healthcare professionals in a developing country like the Philippines informally use their mobile phones to facilitate clinical work.

Please refer to the following articles:

I am glad that more scholars are paying attention to healthcare workers information use of mobile phones.

Cheers,

Robert
