New Consensus Report on Global Roadmap for Healthy Longevity

1 June, 2022

Hello All,

A new consensus study from the National Academy of Medicine (NAM), notes that Societies are failing to meet the needs of older adults who are an increasing natural resource, and outlines recommendations to enable them to live healthy, fulfilling, and meaningful lives.

The report charts key recommendations across sectors that promote and advance the health of older populations. If taken up, these policies, socioeconomic infrastructure improvements, and innovations will set societies on the path to providing healthier, more fulfilling, and productive lives across the entirety of the lifespan. “This vision enables individuals the ability and opportunity to live life with meaning, purpose, dignity, and the ability to contribute to societal well-being that previous generations might not have imagined.”

Interested HIFA colleagues may join the National Academy of Medicine (NAM) on June 3, 2022, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am ET to discuss findings and recommendations from the new consensus study Global Roadmap for Healthy Longevity.
