Dear HIFA colleagues,

On behalf of the HIFA Steering Group I am delighted to announce a new initiative: HIFA Spotlights

HIFA Spotlights are a new, fast, affordable way to put your organisation’s priority topic at the centre of the global health community. For one focused week, we shall mobilise the HIFA forums to generate insights, visibility, and engagement around the issue you care about most.

What a Spotlight includes

- Planning meeting with sponsor, expert(s), and HIFA volunteers

- Promotion on the HIFA website and social media

- Facilitated discussion on HIFA forums

- Structured summary of discussion

- Dissemination to the HIFA community and beyond

- Inclusion in the HIFA Spotlight Library

Benefits to sponsors

- Increase your visibility

- Raise awareness of your organisation’s work

- Your logo on the HIFA homepage for 1 year

- Recognition across HIFA social media, publications, and webinars

Advance your mission

- Your topic becomes a focus for 20,000 members* in 180 countries

- Opportunity to ask questions and gather insights from a global community

- Expand your network and generate outputs (summary, blog, publication)

*HIFA members include health professionals, patient advocates, policymakers, researchers, publishers, information and library professionals, systematic reviewers, and others with an interest in evidence-informed policy and practice

Sponsorship options

£500 — 1 Spotlight (English)

£1000 — 1 Spotlight (En+Fr+Pt+Es) + 1 Webinar

Co-sponsorship is also available. All (co)sponsors contributing £100+ enjoy HIFA Partner benefits for one year (see: hifa.org/partners).

What is your priority global health issue? We look forward to see your proposal for a new HIFA Spotlight. Submit your proposal through our website: www.hifa.org/spotlights or contact me to discuss options: neil@hifa.org

Please submit your proposals by Friday 19 June 2026. We shall then select three topics to kickstart the initiative.

With thanks, Neil
