As you may have seen on our November newsletter, we have launched a new podcast series:
Spotlight on community engagement and involvement (CEI): Improving global health research and outcomes through engaging with local communities.
The podcasts bring together guest speakers from around the globe to share their take on the importance of CEI and guidance for good practice.
Episode one is now live and available on your preferred podcast platform. We begin our series by focusing on NIHR's own approach to CEI, with our host, Gary Hickey in conversation with guest speakers, Vijay Rajkumar (a public contributor) and NIHR's Assistant Directors of Global Health Research programmes, Sarah Puddicombe and Mike Rogers.
Episode two will be released on Wednesday 30 November. In this episode, our host, NIHR’s Global Health CEI Lead, Doreen Tembo, is joined by members of the research team studying Cutaneous Leishmaniasis and intervention programmes to improve patient experience and reduce stigma.
