New: Pill-oriented contraceptive teaching videos

4 January, 2022

Dear colleagues,

We are continuing to roll out the videos in our family planning series. The newest set is focused primarily on contraceptive pills.

For health workers, there are videos on the usual Contraceptive Pill and the Mini-pill. We also have a shorter video that explains How to Take the Contraceptive Pill, including what to do if a woman forgets to take pills. Another video explains How to Take the Contraceptive Pill Continuously – to help women reduce premenstrual symptoms and control if and when they have monthly bleeding . Each of these videos has a similar one for women/partners. In addition, there is short summary video for women on What to Do if You Miss a Pill. As part of this set, we have also released a video that explains how to use The MEC Wheel (Medical Eligibility Wheel by WHO).

These videos are available on our website in English, French, and Spanish, along with videos on LARCs and Contraceptive injectables. https://globalhealthmedia.org/videos/

Wishing you all the best in 2022!
