Dear HIFA colleagues,

As mentioned, we have opened a new funding call - Research and Innovation for Global Health Transformation (RIGHT) 7 - to support targeted research to develop and evaluate interventions for the early detection and management of metabolic risk factors for cardiovascular disease and stroke in primary and community care settings in LMICs.

Thanks to those who have responded so far. To clarify, researchers in LMIC or UK research institutions or NGOs are eligible to apply (detailed criteria on the website) and we are particularly keen to attract applicants from LMICs. Please do share this opportunity through your networks.

The closing date is next Saturday 22 July, and we're keen to extend this opportunity as widely as possible, especially in LMICs. If you know anyone who might be interested, please share it with them or through your country networks.
