The online International Conference on Group B Strep (ICGBS) 2020 is just one week away! We have an amazing lineup of presenters and we would be honored to have you join our collaboration of heathcare professionals, researchers, parents, and other interested individuals as we work to increase perinatal group B strep disease awareness and prevention worldwide this 20-22 July.
As you may know, GBS is a significant cause of neonatal infection worldwide and can also cause harm babies during pregnancy up through several months of age. Besides her keynote presentation, Dr. Carol J. Baker will be presenting on Signs of GBS Disease: Eyes and Ears geared towards parents to help them be able to recognize the signs of infection and know how to react for better outcomes – a “must-share” with parents in your community!
Other presentations range from studies on probiotics as a means of preventing GBS colonization to updated lab guideline recommendations to global genomics and preparation needed for implementation of a maternal GBS vaccine.
