Please disseminate widely! APA Global Health Award for Pediatric investigators from Low and Middle income countries - January 6 2020

25 December, 2019

The Academic Pediatric Association is accepting abstracts for the

Global Health Research Award !

APA’s Global Health Research Award<https://www.academicpeds.org/award/global-health-research-award/> promotes research in the areas of primary care pediatrics, common child health problems, community child health programs, child health services, and pediatric education in developing countries.

This is a unique opportunity for you to support your partners from developing countries to strengthen their knowledge and experience through the rich network of pediatric experts at the PAS conference. Preference is given to promising investigators at the beginning of their research careers in their home country who have not had a chance to travel and present internationally.

The winner will be invited to present their research at the 2020 Pediatric Academic Societies (PAS) Meeting<https://www.pas-meeting.org/> in Philadelphia, PA, April 29-May 6, 2020. Financial support will be provided to cover travel to and from the meeting, hotel accommodations, and conference registration.

Please forward this email to eligible junior investigators from developing countries and encourage them to apply by the deadline of January 6, 2020.
