Dear CHIFA Community
The ORS/Zinc Co-pack Alliance (ORSZCA <https://orszco-pack.org/>) was
launched in January to advocate for the new WHO ORS/Zinc co-packaging
recommendation (for diarrhoea treatment) and seek to remove barriers and
exploit opportunities to the uptake of the recommendation in LMICs. As a
part of this work we are establishing a knowledge base on the status of ORS
and Zinc around the world. See: https://orszco-pack.org/orsz-status. This
knowledge base is being created from contributions in English and French
submitted through this questionnaire:
English: https://orszco-pack.org/questionnaire
Français: https://orszco-pack.org/questionnaire-fr
The questionnaire takes less than 10 minutes to complete. You do not have
to know the answer to every question; our aim is to quickly gather insights
from the information you have at your fingertips and between us we will
build a complete picture.
This dataset seeks to answer the most frequently asked question we are
asked, that no one can answer, which is “What is the current status of ORS
and Zinc across LMICs?”, for example:
- Which countries are using ORS/Zinc co-packs?
- Where does Zinc have “over the counter” status?
- Which countries have co-packaged ORS/Zinc on their Essential Medicines
List?
- Co-pack brands, pricing and so on
Please head over the English questionnaire
<https://orszco-pack.org/questionnaire> or the French one
<https://orszco-pack.org/questionnaire-fr> now or pass this to a friend.
Thanks
Simon
