Pre-publication release of Treatment of Migrant Children on the US Southern Border Is Torture (2)

1 November, 2020

I applaud the work of Charles and the other authors of this paper in taking such an important step to support the children and their parents who have been so severely affected by separation and detention at the US border. The paper is important for showing up another grave fault in the US Presidential regime over the last four years which has to be rectified, as well as demonstrating to all governments which are detaining children apart from their parents that such acts may also amount to torture.

It will be enlightening to hear the response of the relevant US authorities to the findings of this paper.
