I agree, a paradigm shift - a total shift in mindset is required as :

"Health systems need to be explicitly both patient-centred and health-worker-centred. "

A holistic whole of society approach is critical to ensure quality of care in the health system.It is critical to recognise the interconnectedness of the systems that determine the quality of health delivered in any setting.

Empowerent of all actors in the system - both community and facility - through knowledge transfer should ensure an improvement in care.

Knowledge is powerful as it can influence culture and behaviour which contribute a lot to the quality of service rendered.
