Dear colleagues,

The European Association of Health Information and Libraries (EAHIL) 2023 event in Trondheim, Norway is taking place 12-14 June.

The theme of the event is "Radical positive change agents" and there will be oral presentations, workshops, teachmeets and continuing education courses on a variety of subjects. We have also been fortunate enough to secure three excellent keynote speakers including R. David Lankes, who inspired the theme of this EAHIL event with the statement,

“To be a librarian is not to be neutral, or passive, or waiting for a question. It is to be a radical positive change agent within your community.”

Please see more information and programme at: https://eahil2023.org/

Early bird registration ends on Friday, 31 March, but you can register at the regular price until June. We do recommend that you register sooner rather than later due to a limited number of hotel rooms available at the conference price.

Five reasons to attend EAHIL 2023:

1) Opportunity to share something exciting you have been working on or a best practice you have developed

2) Get new ideas on sustainability, technology and learning in libraries and information services

3) Networking and relationship building. Learning from each other and pooling resources together is vital to develop new services and new skillsets.

4) Understanding current issues within the health library and information service domain.

5) Improving your skills through our continuing education courses and workshops.

Please feel free to share this with others who might be interested and to contact us if you have any questions. https://eahil2023.org/contact/

See you in Trondheim!
