Dear Chris and Neil,
Open access in journal publishing will help us in low/middle income countries access high quality seminal publications. It is s o frustrating when you want to read a paper and the journal wants you to pay;. a fee beyond your salary! It's a form of economic apartheid!
So we are talking about equity here. OPEN access liberates our scientists and practitioners. We must push for open access.
