(from the ICHG Newsletter)
In May, our discussions included:
1. Prevention of child drowning: Stewart Britten asked for guidance on behalf of his organisation HealthProm, which works in Afghanistan. Members shared experience from Bangladesh, India and Japan, signposting useful resources.
2. Attacks on children and healthcare in Gaza. Former CHIFA lead moderator Tony Waterston described how the group Child Health Advocates for Palestine has been pressing the RCPCH to advocate for stronger UK government action, pointing to their letter published in The BMJ. https://www.bmj.com/content/389/BMJ.r741/rapid-responses
