Save the date: WHO/HRP SRHR Co-Creation Civil Society Consultation, London, 16 June (in-person event only)

14 June, 2023

Please join us on Friday, 16 June, for a co-creation consultation with civil society to inform the development of the new sexual and reproductive health strategy of the World Health Organization (WHO) Human Reproduction Programme (HRP).

The consultation will be organised by the IBP Network and IPPF in collaboration with the UK Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights (SRHR) Network. It will build on the WHO Director General Dialogue on SRHR with CSOs [ https://www.who.int/news/item/24-04-2023-siding-with-science-and-srhr-ci... ] that brought over 600 participants from 120 countries together to identify global priorities and challenges in SRHR programming and actions for WHO to support civil society efforts in SRHR.

We will be joined by Nandita Thatte, Technical Officer and Lead of the IBP Network, and James Kiarie, Unit Head, Contraception and Fertility Care, from the Department of Sexual and Reproductive Health and Research at the WHO, and will also hear from IPPF colleagues about IPPF’s Strategy 2028 [ https://www.ippf.org/resource/2023-2028-strategy ] and the stakeholder assessments that fed into its development.
