Applications & Scholarship Deadline: Virtual Global Health Elective for Residents, Clinical Officers, Final Year Medical and Advance Practice Students
Advanced clinical health professions trainees are invited to join CFHI's unique virtual opportunity to build key Global Health competencies. The 4-week, full-time virtual elective is open to final-year medical, nurse practitioner, dental, physician assistant, pharmacy, allied health students/residents/fellows from around the world.
Through live sessions, a diverse faculty team from CFHI’s global network share how communities are addressing their most pressing health challenges, including chronic disease, maternal-child health, infectious disease, and reproductive health. Students gain insights and comparative perspectives into the public health realities internationally, explore ethics and professionalism, intercultural effectiveness, reverse innovation, planetary health, and interplays of international development and health. Scholarships for students from low and middle-income countries (LMICs), students who are displaced, and those in financial need are available. For the September elective the Scholarship deadline is July 15th! Deeply discounted tuition is also offered to students from LMICs.
