Thanks for the added detail and thoughts Richard, very helpful and encouraging ...
Great to hear of the scope and duration of work on this.
A recent solar system trail in Liverpool was verygood:https://ourplaceinspace.earth/trail/liverpool
Thank you for your observation re. the educationalpotential of Hodges' model ...
Yes you are on the right lines - even as I am fuzzy - rambling here - as *evidence* is needed ...
"The Hodges method is an educational exercise? ** and the building blocks are health and care concepts."
In EDUCATION Hodges' model can support -
reflection, critical thinking, problem solving(thinking IN and OUT of the box - INTEGRATION too)
vocabulary learning, personal development (within and as part of lifelong learning)
Subject driven applications
PSHE -https://pshe-association.org.uk/what-is-pshe-education (this is an obvious avenue - I will approach re. conference presentation?)
'PSHE' https://hodges-model.blogspot.com/search?q=pshe
Social and Economic History - health
Sciences (all of them)
HumanitiesMind/Concept mapping (So yes!)
More formally:
Curriculum development (design, planning,evaluation)
CLINICALLY
assessment, planning, interventions, evaluation
person-centredness, holistic care (parity ofesteem - achieving / demonstrating / measuring ? )integrating care
More formally:
SDGs, Social, Commercial and PoliticalDeterminants of Health
I may have noted previously ...
Idea of a pilot study - not 11-12 year olds butmight be possible from a 'key' year to another - part of a reflectivejournal that also supports and facilitates student well-being in anongoing educational career...
Previous idea of student nurses in Year 1, 2, 3. Using the model to map their well-being and 'progress' across themodel's four domains - spiritual too as appropriate across theirstudent career. Carry over as - newly qualified nurses - an aim being for to reduce burnout (quite an 'ask' for any model / conceptual framework*).
There is a very serious issue here, with the well-being of students generally, given suicides and need for prevention / safeguarding.
- to Planetary health. (The conference and videos,I can readily identify with - notions of Deep Space, Deep Time, DeepCare ...)
Many thanks Richard and all,
*But not for a relational ontology?
