Dear HIFA Members,
My name is Egide Tuyisingize, and I am currently a Clinical Medicine and Community Health student at the University of Rwanda. I am deeply passionate about public health, digital innovation, and improving access to quality health information in underserved communities.
As part of my commitment to universal health access, I have initiated a project called Community Health Workers ConnectBot—a AI-powered chatbot designed to support community health workers (CHWs) in Rwanda by providing real-time health education, guidance, and decision-making tools directly on their phones. This tool aims to bridge the gap between health knowledge and frontline practice, particularly in rural and resource-limited settings.
As a young innovator from a low-income background, I am currently seeking financial or technical support to further develop and scale this solution. I believe HIFA is a powerful platform to connect with like-minded professionals, institutions, and potential collaborators who share the vision of making healthcare information accessible to all.
Thank you once again for welcoming me to the community. I am excited to learn from your insights and explore meaningful collaboration to bring this vision to life.
Warm regards,
Egide Tuyisingize
