I wish to send a brief self introduction as follows:
I am basically a neonatal pediatrician with so many years of practice experience. I have mentored and taught Pediatrics for many years in a medical school and though out of the medical school context, I am still in
the teaching business. I have many years of work experience in multi-socio-cultural settings.
My current major areas of interest are in the care of the small and sick newborn babies; a very challenging growing area in the low/ middle income country settings. It is even more challenging in these areas where poverty is prevalent and social support is lacking so inequities in care practices are rampant. The situation calls for innovation, continuous creativity to problem solving.
