Hi friends of HIFA.
Many of you have probably heard of HelpMeSee but don’t know much about us. Our Mission is to restore vision to people living with severe visual impairment and blindness due to cataract worldwide, while our Vision is to be the world leader of innovative and scalable surgical eyecare simulation-based training solutions. With this in mind, our strategy is to advance global cataract care through innovative, scalable, and technology-driven surgical simulation training.
I am particularly excited about simulation-based training for cataract surgery, as there is a growing body of evidence that it reduces the learning curve and reduces complications in live surgery, hence, increasing patient safety and good results.
