Thank you Richard (Fitton).

“The Secretary-General now calls upon all States to work together through the Global Mechanism to tackle digital risks and ensure these technologies are leveraged for good,” the statement said.

This new 'Global Mechanism' does not yet exist.

We look forward to explore how HIFA can contribute to this vision. Our perspective would be to focus on meeting information needs: To accelerate progress towards a world where every person has access to reliable (healthcare) information to protect their own health (and rights) and the health (and rights) of others.

Current action by the US Administration is undermining the global evidence ecosystem and indeed global cooperation and collaboration.

Best wishes, Neil
