I fully agree with you. The leaders are totally ignoring the health issues of mothers and children.

In Bangladesh, women and children are in the bottom of busket. Women are suffering from different Gynaecological problems without treatment like infections and cancers. A baby with congenital heart disease with repeated failure sometimes sacrified for next healthy baby. WHO and UNICEF are not taking adequat steps. Sometimes they are funded by business enterprises  and save their part. For example Breast milk substitute  (BMS) companies,  they directly manipulate UN agencies and other public health problem.
