Webinar: Factors influencing parents' views and practices regarding routine childhood vaccination: Findings from a Cochrane qualitative evidence synthesis - 22 feb @ 14h00 SA

9 February, 2022

Dear colleagues [*see note from moderator below]

Routine childhood vaccination remains a critical issue for many LMICs, with declines in vaccination rates in some settings as a consequence of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Please join us for an online seminar on 22 February at 14h00 South Africa time in which Sara Cooper from Cochrane South Africa at the South African Medical Research Council will present the findings of a new Cochrane EPOC qualitative evidence synthesis on ‘Factors that influence parents' views and practices regarding routine childhood vaccination’. This review is available open access in the Cochrane Library here and a summary of implementation considerations from the review is available here in English and Spanish.

To join the webinar, please register here

This seminar is hosted by Cochrane Effective Practice and Organisation of Care (EPOC), Cochrane Norway and Cochrane South Africa.

Best wishes

Simon

[*Note from HIFA moderator (Neil PW): Thank you Simon. We usually encourage child-health-specific messages to go via our global child health forum CHIFA, but in view of the above's relevance to the current WHO-HIFA Project on Maintaiing essential health services during COVID-19, it will be good to publicise this on both HIFA and CHIFA. I'll forward this on to CHIFA as well.]
