Webinar: Online Wikipedia and evidence for health and care: lunch and learn - Thursday 21 May 12-1pm

22 April, 2024

Ahead of the HLG Conference there will be a Wikipedia hands on workshop. Adam Harangozó, NIHR’s Wikipedian in Residence, will be running a ‘lunch and learn’ webinar to help us learn how to leverage Wikipedia for health and care research dissemination and impact.

Did you know that Wikipedia is the most frequently consulted resource for medical information on the internet? The medical articles in the English-language Wikipedia are consulted on average 150 million times each month, by 50-70% of practising medical professionals, and are one of the top sources by medical students. The free webinar which is open to all users will be held from 12pm-1pm on Tuesday 21 May 2024. Booking is now open via Eventbrite. https://www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/wikipedia-and-evidence-for-health-and-car...
