HIFA colleagues, I hadn't known that several of us had HINARI's launch in common. HINARI is what drew me to WHO in 2001, as it was launching soon after I invented NextGenU.org -- I spent several weeks in Geneva volunteering on HINARI and discussing creating accessible health sciences education, then becoming the Coordinator (from 2002-2006) for the nascent WHO Health InterNetwork Education and Training initiative (HINET).

How gratifying to see all these wonderful direct and indirect outcomes from HINARI!
