Will health data governance be tabled on the agenda at the 76th World Health Assembly? (2)

4 February, 2023

Health data governance is extremely important and should be pursued at the highest level in countries and globally. Two issues: Number one is that many countries still do not have health data (quality and quantity). The data they collect is either manipulated to serve political or financial purposes or they don’t care about its collection in the first place; second I do recall that WHO published in year 2000 a publication titled eHealth governance. A revisit to that document will be wise.

With kind regards.
