Thanks to Neil for this incisive thought provoking idea. I will take the cue from this and go ahead to implement to scale some of my thoughts on breastfeeding counselling at my center here in Asaba Nigeria.
We provide the needed support in the hospital to the newly delivered mothers before home discharge. We will link up with our various health professional Associations to provide on line call- in continuous support for our mothers as a follow up to the physical support we provide already to the mothers. With a multipronged approach to breastfeeding support especially through media interventions we may achieve the desired impact.
