Nutrition Education Resources for Children

14 May, 2020

Dear All,

I have had quite a few messages this week from people thanking us for our list of COVID-19 resources for children.

So, this week, I thought I'd assemble a post summarising the many resources we have on our website, linked to 'Nutrition Education for Children'.

Since we came into being in July 2013, Children for Health has been asked to help with several nutrition education programmes for children. Our added value is to ensure that built into these programmes is the scope to empower

and mobilise children as nutrition activists.

For example, we have worked with the Provincial Government of Tete in Mozambique and with a Save the Children programme in Cambodia.

We have helped with programme design, training, materials development and evaluation. We have co-created nutrition education materials with experts and practitioners in many other countries and projects too. All of our materials have our participatory approach at their heart.

I thought it might be helpful for this community to see our nutrition resources set out in one post.

It’s important to acknowledge that this is not just 'my' work but work I have developed with very many other experts and practitioners over the years!

I hope you are all doing well during this tough time.

Clare
