Conflict of interest which potentially resides within the Physicians’ conventional practice should always be kept in mind and mitigated through patient centric policies & regulations.
The “Physician – Pharmaceutical – Pharmacy Nexus” is well known to all, especially in the LMICs but not limited to them.
The whole fabric of healthcare needs to change from “Physician controlled/Centric” to “Patient Centric”. Until that it done, we may not be able to reduce medical errors significantly and create a safe healthcare system
